The weldability of the casting materials is different, especially for large castings, but excavation, welding and repair are also allowed. Non-destructive testing personnel not only have a good understanding of the relevant knowledge about the regulations, classification and characteristics of Chinese casting material brands, but also have a very profound study on the analysis and judgment of defects and quality issues.

        It is said that the casting process is prone to problems. Generally, in addition to chemical composition analysis and mechanical property testing, non-destructive testing work is also required. These testing requirements are respectively based on design requirements, casting process requirements or buyer requirements, and different inspection items are used to conduct non-destructive testing on castings. It is recommended that enterprises determine the inspection volume required for non-destructive testing of castings from the very beginning when considering manufacturing, especially when mass-producing the same products. In some cases, it may be necessary to inspect the castings separately. In other cases, sampling inspection may be sufficient, especially for large castings, or only the important parts need to be inspected. When inspecting large castings, non-destructive testing is a more convenient and efficient method for casting inspection.
